Hi all, welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting my page!
In most of my blogs you’ll find I write about the adventures of being a mother. I am a stay at home mother of two boys and like many other parents I experience the many emotions that come with motherhood on a daily basis. My hope is that through my writing I can connect with others who may/will find themselves in similar situations. You’ll find that I will write about the happiness, sadness, joy, frustration, love, gratitude, anger, pride, and annoyance (to name just a few) that I experience as a mother. This blog is about the endless experiences that I, and hopefully others, go through on this journey as a woman and mother.
If you are reading this as a mother I hope you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone in this journey. Motherhood is beautiful – yet tough. I am by no means a ‘perfect mother’ (no one is) – I struggle just like many of you. At the end of the day I try to do my best as a woman and a mother. I know that all parents do – we are constantly striving to love and raise our children to the best of our knowledge and ability – despite the many failures and shortcomings we encounter.
My goal here is to REMIND you, and myself, to love and enjoy the journey with the ups and downs that it comes with. Life is short and children grow up so quickly. I believe that every child is a beautiful gift from God and the moments we spend with our children are a blessing – even if at times they don’t seem like it. Those moments don’t last forever so make memories that you may cherish forever! I am here to encourage you to ENJOY the moments – they go by so unbelievably fast.
I write as a woman striving to be a Christian mother and wife; I mention God because I truly believe that every day is a gift from Him. I have to remind myself constantly about this so that I don’t take moments for granted. I hope that all of you beautiful, smart, and strong mamas and papas out there know that are you loved and I hope that you have someone to lean on as you journey through the adventure of parenthood. You are not alone. Stay blessed and happy reading!
